Sky has kick-started what it can be called “the cheapest fibre broadband” and landline rental package in the country (UK). The cost of the Sky fibre going for £20 a month, the package which includes line rental (down from £27.40), alongside a discounted set-up fee of £19.95 that Is paid once in a life time.
Both new and existing Sky TV customers, have access to this service as well as TV customers with Sky Broadband after they subscribe for 18 months straight.
Sky Fibre as of now boasts of an interesting 25GB monthly usage allowance and average download speeds (ADS) of 34Mbps. This product kick start arrives as Sky announces that from here on it, it will advertise broadband with average speeds received by customers..
The provider Sky has also released a statement on the launch of its new “Sky Broadband Tech Team” , which it’s parading as offering “industry-leading customer service at a great price”.
A dedicated team of experts will be equipped with bespoke tools and branded” uniforms, and will aim to deliver a “better, personalised customer experience” both over the phone and in people’s homes.
Director of Communication Products at Sky, Lissa McGowan also made a comment: “Faster and more reliable internet is becoming ever more important for our TV customers.”
The company believes the launch of the new “Broadband Tech Team” will build a brand on top of the company’s “leading customer service, as rated Number 1 by Ofcom for the last two years”.
