TalkTalk TV adds festive favourite Elf to line-up

TalkTalk has made a response to the voiced concerns over the classic Christmas movie; “Elf” being skipped for public broadcast this year (2016) by simply including it to the TV platform line-up.

 The major media companies BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Sky Cinema are on the other hand not set to show this seasonal movie “Elf”  this year, while it could have been made available on Netflix, it is absent their also causing a number of people to share their piece of mind about their disappointment on Twitter.

However, TalkTalk has sought to rescue the situation by confirming the movie will be added to TalkTalk TV.

Will Ferrell and Zooey Deschanel are the major stars of the film by the way and fans of the film are being provided  opportunity to own a copy to watch on their own time on-demand, the price for downloading and owning falling  to just £5.

The company plans that this will make customers excited about their service this Christmas season.

Now the viewers should be able to get £2.50 off any of the festive movies on the TalkTalk catalogue if the code TALKTALKSANTA is used, valid from today – December 14th– till New Year’s Day and available to the first 1,000 users in fact to download to own or rent a seasonal film from the platform.

For its TV Store TalkTalk has a released a special Christmas Collection, of which includes movies like of It’s a Wonderful Life, The Holiday, Home Alone , Miracle on 34th St, and Love Actually.

This announcement comes just after TalkTalk began the quiet launch of its YouView service, which it believes will give its over 1 million TV audience a “faster, smarter and more visual and intuitive TV experience”.
